Hi all,
I know it’s a tad cheeky but I’m reaching out to you for help with a cause I really believe in. It’s Fit for Felix, about a brave and full of life, young lad who on the 7th Oct 2015 was involved in a road traffic incident outside his home in Swanmore.
Having been flown to Southampton General Hospital, he was placed in a medically-induced coma. Among his many injures, Felix had suffered a traumatic brain injury, which would prove to be severe and potentially life-limiting.
As a consequence, Fit for Felix was created to help support the family in these troubled times and I’m part of a group who have put a slight twist on this and we’re doing something specific to the fact I do martial arts and naming it ‘Fight for Felix’, catchy huh?
I will be taking part in an event on Saturday 3rd Sept (details below) of which I would welcome you, your family and your team/customers to attend and see what we’re doing.
I need to raise a minimum £15 to participate but I so want to exceed this and that’s where you come into it. On the day, there will be some real fab raffle prizes and an auction, book stall, bar, tea/coffee & cakes and that’s without watching demonstrations by different martial artists and the chance to see real warriors battle against one another on the mats. So come along, bring your family and have a great afternoon with us. Spectators Suggested Donation is only £5pp –or- £10/family

Timetable
2pm: Setup and warm up
2.30pm–4pm: Karate (applications), Aikido, Muay Thai, Taekwondo & Jiu Jitsu demos
4pm–6pm: Continuous sparring event (Medals awarded)
6pm–6.45pm: Fundraising Raffle and Auction
I really hope you can dip into your pockets or that of your company as a business expence and make a contribution to a family whose life has been completely turned upside down. All we can do is help them make the adjustments they need by raising the necessary funds. Come along, see me in action too J
